6-Day North-East Cambodia Adventure Tour
Details
There are two options for the starting point.
- Option 1: Start from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap
- Option 2: Start from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh
Day 1: Phnom Penh to Kratie City
We will take some easy rides on the red dirt road along Mekong River. Then, we will stop for lunch at Kompong Cham city and continue to Kratie town. The total trip about 230 Kms.
Day 2: Kratie City to Steung Treng Town
We will ride on red dirt track and some roads. You guys can watch dolphins in the Mekong River on a boat. Then, we will have lunch at the river bank. Total road trip is about 185 kms.
Day 3: Steung Treng City to Chep District Little Town
We will ride on a red dirt road and jungle trail. After lunch, we will watch the Rabbit waterfall near Laos border.
Day 4: Chep District to Tbeng Meanchey Town
Full day jungle trail and sandy oxcart trails with muddy roads. The total trip is about 145 kms trail.
Day 5: Tbeng Meanchey to Ta Seng village
On a full-day jungle trail, you will adventure into the forest and see the hidden temple, Preah Khan. We’ll have cool beer and BBQ pork at home stay. Total road trip is about 175 kms.
Day 6: Ta Seng Village to Siem Reap
We’ll have a farewell for our great team work and friendship.
2 Day Tour We head up to the North West, towards the Thai border. This is where the Khmer Rouge hid out after the troubled times. We visit the town where Pol Pot hid out after the war in 1979. We see his house, and his grave.
3 Day Tour We head to Taseng, where we have a local homestay. We visit the former capital of the Angkor Empire, Koh Ker. We use a homestay in Anlong Veng, where Pol Pot lived and died.
4 Day Tour We take the elements from the 3 day tour above and add a visit to the spectacular mountaintop temple of Preah Vihear.
5 Day Tour We visit the Lao Border, and travel to the town of Stung Treng, before visiting the mighty Mekong River.
6 Day Tour We add a visit to Tbeng Meanchey.
7 – 10 Day Tour Options include visits to Anlong Veng, Preah Vihear, Tbeng Meanchey, the Lao border, Siempang, Banlung Ratanakiri, Modolkiri, Snoul, Lompong Chamg and Taseng.
Normally all tours start and end in Siem Reap. However, the 10 day tour can finish either in Phnom Penh or Siem Reap.
INCLUDED
Pickup and drop off from the airport or your hotel. Motorbikes, fuel, riding gear and accommodation. Temple passes, bridges and river crossings, food, 4×4 support.
NOT INCLUDED
Insurance (life and accident insurance), damage to motorbikes, soft drinks.
